About Hugh Harris
Hugh Harris is an accomplished artist and writer, and a retired pastor, who lives in the Richmond, Virginia suburbs of North Chesterfield. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Hugh had his first art lessons through Saturday classes at the Cincinnati Art Museum. He has worked in oils, acrylics, watercolor, pen & ink, and graphite. Over the years he has exhibited in art events throughout the mid-Atlantic region, and won numerous awards. In recent years he pursued what he has called his "Colorful Creations" paintings. Many of these are licensed for commercial purposes worldwide.
As a writer Hugh has authored three Christian fiction novels under his Dinkel Island Series. The first two, "A Change of Heart," and "Return of Bliss," are currently available. His third, "Secrets at Lighthouse Point," is in production for release in the summer of 2015. He has also co-authored a non-fiction book with his wife, Sharon French Harris, titled "NPH: Journey into Dementia and Out Again." This book is due for release in the spring of 2015.
